Chiyaan Vikram Launches Galatta Cinema July 2011 Issue
Actor Chiyaan Vikram released the Deiva Thiirumagal special issue of the Galatta Cinema Magazine at Landmark, Citi Centre, Chennai. The first copy was received by Director Vijay and Mr. G. Dhananjayan of UTV Motion Pictures in the presence of Mr. Girish Ramdas, President, Galatta.com and Mrs. Shri Shakthi Girish, Editor in Chief, Galatta Cinema. Mr. Nirav Shah, the cinematographer of the movie also graced the occasion.Zimson Watches presented a Raymond Weil watch to Vikram on the occasion.

Trisha Launches Galatta Cinema June Issue
The cover story of the June 2011 issue of Galatta Cinema, celebrates the celebrities who put their star power to good use and back social causes. Adorning our cover is actress Trisha with an adorable Indian dog as a part of a campaign that she is pushing on behalf of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The lovely star launched the first copy of the magazine at Sathyam Cinemas in the presence of members from PETA.

The Best of Tamil Cinema Book Launch
G. Dhananjayan's 'The Best of Tamil Cinema: 1931 to 2010', published by Galatta Media was launched with great fanfare on March 2, 2011 by Ulaganagayan Padma Shri Kamal Haasan. Along with veteran actor Sivakumar, prominent directors from the Tamil film industry including Balu Mahendra, Mahendran, K. Bhagyaraj, Parthiban, Mysskin, Selvaraghavan, Cheran and others were present.

The anniversary issue with the fabulous Anushka on the cover was launched at Star Rock at The Spring Hotel by Nadigar Sangam President Mr. Sarathkumar and Mrs. Radikaa Sarathkumar, the big screen and silver screen queen herself. The Galatta team thanks the couple for lending their support and joining the Galatta team in the celebrations.
