STARS AND GALATTA CINEMA

Rajinikanth was presented with the July issue of Galatta Cinema by our Promotions Manager Mr. Muthu Rathina Sakthivel. For someone of his stature and the kind of maniacal fanfare he generates, the Superstar proved to be a gracious, patient and humble person also, as he asked many pertinent and thoughtful questions wished us all the best.

Brian Jennings is handling the SFX for Kamal Haasan's Dashaavtaram. Galatta Cinema got the opportunity to meet the man who has worked on films like Exorcist: The Beginning, Scary Movie, Father of the Bride Part II, Mortal Kombat, Vampire In Brooklyn and Mindhunters. He was very pleased when he saw the October issue of Galatta Cinema.

Galatta Cinema caught up with Bhavana during the launch of her film Jayam Kondaan. She was very happy to get her hands on the latest issue of Galatta Cinema.

Chitra has worked with every top music director. With over 10,000 songs to her credit, she is rightly called the Nightingale of South India. It is indeed a great honour to have a legendary singer of her stature tell us what an enjoyable read Galatta Cinema magazine is.

Director Gautham Menon was impressed by the first issue of Galatta Cinema. He was present during the magazine launch and encouraged the team for it future endeavours.

Devi Sri Prasad is a popular name in both Tamil and Telugu films. he has composed musical scores for some of the biggest hits. He was featured in our Deepavali special issue of 2007.

Genelia has been creating waves not only in Telugu and Tamil films, but has become popular in Bollywood. Bommarillu her biggest hit in Telugu was followed by Santosh Subramanium, the Tamil remake of the same. She was very happy when she saw GC and we hope that we can have her on the cover soon!

Sona is not just an item girl, but an actress who has worked hard to make a place in Tamil Cinema. Her association with Galatta is not new. She was a guest on our online chat. She was also featured in the 'Wild Side' feature in the August 2008 issue of GC.
