'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and acclaimed filmmaker Mysskin are teaming up for a full-fledged project for the first time titled Train and the excitement is as real as it gets. The upcoming film is being bankrolled by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under his V Creations, and the hit producer is known for some of Tamil cinema's biggest blockbusters and cult classics. Touted to be an action thriller, the story of Train is centered around a train journey, with Vijay Sethupathi undergoing a lot of changes for his looks for a different avatar, while Veeramae Vaagai Soodum (2022) fame Dimple Hayati has been roped in to play a meaty role. 

Train will see Vijay Sethupathi and Dimple Hayati share screen space with several notable names among whom include Ira Dayanand, Nassar, Vinay Rai, Bhavana, Sampath Raj, Babloo Prithviraj, KS Ravikumar, Yugi Sethu, Ganesh Venkatraman, Kaniha, Diya Seetepalli, Singam Puli, Sriranjani, Ajay Rathnam, Thrigun Arun, Raichal Rabecca and others in supporting roles, with the first look poster also released. Mysskin, who has of late been exploring his musical side, will be composing the film's songs and the background score, while Fowzia Fathima is handling the cinematography, with Sri Watson in charge of the editing, and V Mayapandi overseeing the production design.

A formal pooja ceremony for Train was held on Friday morning, December 1, which saw the film's team pose for pictures with National Award-winning director Vetri Maaran, Nadigar Sangam President Nasser, Tamil Film Producer Council members Murali Ramasamy, Radhakrishnan, S Kathiresan, producer Anbu Chezhiyan, Kalyanam (Knack Studios) and others who conveyed their best wishes to the team. There is quite a lot of buzz for Train as the talk about Vijay Sethupathi and Mysskin joining hands for a film has been happening for quite some time, especially after the National Award-winning Tamil actor played an important cameo in the filmmaker's yet-to-be-released Pisasu 2. 

The wait has officially come to an end for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans everywhere as the highly-anticipated Leo trailer is now out and is a blast from start to finish. Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring music composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, the action-packed visuals in the upcoming gangster action drama film are nothing short of spectacular and leave audiences wanting more. The Leo trailer is undoubtedly a one-man show with Vijay leading the way and at his finest delivering the blows to the bad guys, while also appearing alongside some of the biggest names in Indian cinema. 

The Leo trailer starts off with Vijay narrating a violent incident where a serial killer goes on to kill many people on the road in Kashmir. There are visuals of 'Action King' Arjun, Mysskin, and Sandy master engaging in violent acts, with Gautham Menon appearing as a brave police officer. We also see Vijay narrating how the police officer's gun lands in his hands, with Mathew Thomas seen holding a spear and a blood-thirsty hyena also appearing in the midst. Vijay is shown to be a baker masquerading under the alias Parthi and is married to Trisha, who are parents to a small girl played by Iyal. The Leo trailer revolves around a conflict between Vijay and Sanjay Dutt, with the latter part of the glimpse filled with peak action. 

Releasing worldwide in cinemas on October 19 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages, Leo marks the 'Thalapathy' Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh Ravichander trio's second outing together after the phenomenal box-office success of their Master (2021). Likewise, the film is also a big reunion for both Vijay and Trisha after the popular Tamil cinema stars ruled the 2000s starring in films Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008). With the long-awaited Leo trailer now out, Vijay's fans will no doubt feel super-charged for the film's release in theatres in two weeks' time.

Devil will mark the debut of the director-actor Mysskin as a music composer. The new announcement has created huge buzz and the film that is set to be directed by the debut director Aathityaa. The film has actor Vidharth who has acted in many films like Mynaa, Veeram, and Kaatrin Mozhi in an important role with actress Poorna. It also has Telugu actor Thrigun.

Mysskin is a well-known fan of Maestro Ilayaraja and always speaks highly of him, so fans are excited to hear if that's resonated in his composition. As the press then asked about 'Thalapathy' Vijay in Leo, The director said "I saw him after 26 years and he was a dear and he praised me. It will surely be a big hit." About Maaveeran, The director said “This get-up is for Maaveeran, I shaved my beard for it for a year It has come out very well. I have acted as the villain in the whole movie. I am very happy to act with Sivakarthikeyan, he's a good guy."

When asked about Pisasu 2, The director Mysskin said the film will surely come out, the producer is stuck on a small thing, but it will come out. It's a good film that will be liked by everyone. He then revealed an exciting update that he is doing a film for producer S.Thanu sir. He further said "it will be with Vijay Sethupathi and I am writing a story and after the story is done it will come out." Vijay Sethupathi is also a part of Pisasu 2, these updates have become viral on social media.

Sivakarthikeyan has grown to become a big star from being a reality TV contestant and TV show anchor. The actor has been exploring different shades in acting with his recent projects. His recent film was a bilingual that was released in Tamil and Telugu Prince. For his next project, the star has joined hands with Mandela fame Madonne Ashwin named Maaveeran. The actor can be seen in a new look and takes up the role of a cartoon artist. The first single from the movie Scene ah Scene ah sung by Anirudh Ravichander was released last month on his birthday.

The director revealed some details about Sivakarthikeyan at the event as he plays a significant role in Maaveeran. The actor said previously, in an interview somebody had asked him about Sivakarthikeyan and he immediately replied ”I don’t know about him". He assured “I didn’t know him at the time and I meant it”. He said after years I got an opportunity to work with him and shared about his experience in Maaveeran saying “many actors are coming with backup. But he doesn’t have any back up. He works very hard." The director then said "Sivakarthikeyan works very hard for 16 hours - 20 hours and that is why he had grown so big!” He then said to students that he revealed all this information so then they can implement it in their life and ended the speech by saying “the actor is such a hard worker”

The director-turned-actor was a chief guest at the MIT college cultural event and broke some news about the upcoming film Leo directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj as a shared screen space with one of the top-tier stars of Tamil, Vijay. He spilt details about an action sequence between him and Thalapathy Vijay. He explained in the fight sequence, Vijay had to hit him and before shooting it, the star came and spoke to him saying he might get hurt. Mysskin said he replied saying “Vijay you hit me, I can bear it I am also a director, and martial artist", and the shot the scene. The director then said immediately after shooting the scene actor Vijay came and hugged me and asked if I was ok. He said “That Care he showed he's a real hero” 

The director then spoke about Lokesh Kanagaraj the sought-after director. Last week, the director released a thank you note to the stunt master of the film, director and 'Thalapathy' Vijay. Two days ago, Lokesh Kanagaraj penned a heartfelt thank you note to Mysskin on Twitter saying It was an absolute blast to have him on sets and that he feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him in such a close capacity. The speech of the director at the cultural programme went viral with fans seeking every little detail about the film.

'Thalapathy' Vijay's LEO is being filmed in Kashmir and includes a power-packed star cast alongside the Tamil cinema superstar among whom is also acclaimed filmmaker-actor Mysskin in a key role. The upcoming film is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has now penned a heartfelt statement conveying his gratitude, while also sharing a picture of himself with Mysskin from the sets of their upcoming film. Posting a photo on Twitter taken during their conversation at the shooting spot, Lokesh Kanagaraj wrote, "My Dear @DirectorMysskin sir,  A million thanks won’t suffice to express how grateful and fortunate I feel to have had the opportunity to work with you in such close capacity. We had an absolute blast having you on sets Sir.I can never thank you enough but a million thanks ! #Leo". 

Being produced under Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner, LEO will see Vijay locking horns with Mysskin and several others in the film. The filmmaker, who is known for his directorials like Chithiram Pesuthadi, Anjathe, Nandalala, Yuddham Sei, Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum, Pisaasu, Thupparivaalan, and Psycho, including his appearances in Savarakkaththi and Super Deluxe, penned an earnest statement thanking the LEO earlier this week after he completing shooting his portions in the Vijay-starrer. Mysskin is set to be seen as a baddie in Vijay's LEO, which also has Trisha Krishnan as the female lead, followed by Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, choreographer Sandy master, young Malayalam actor Mathew Thomas among others, with music being composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Touted to be a mass action thriller, the film is set to open in cinemas worldwide on October 19 as a grand Ayudha pooja holiday treat and features music being composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The rural drama Maamanithan which is written and directed by Seenu Ramasamy and produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja under his YSR Productions banner, was released on 24 June 2022. The long-delayed film which has been awaiting release for nearly 4 years now has finally hit the big screens. In addition to this, Yuvan also composed the soundtrack of this film along with his father, the maestro Ilaiyaraaja. The cinematography and editing were handled by M. Sukumar and A. Sreekar Prasad, respectively.

The film starring Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Guru Somasundaram, and Shaji Chen opened to mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. Maamanithan has also managed to grab the attention of many famous personalities. One of them is director Mysskin who has hailed Seenu Ramasamy for the idea of making a unique film amidst masala and commercial films and is succeeding with it. Mysskin was not the only one who was impressed by the film. Actor-director Bharathiraja and Superstar Rajinikanth also had high praise for the film and its director upon watching it. They too expressed their opinions on the film. Renowned filmmaker Shankar was also hugely impressed by the relationship drama. So much so that he too took to his Twitter handle to share the fact that Maamanithan gave him the satisfaction of having watched a good film. Stating that Seenu Ramasamy has delivered a "realistic classic", he was all praise for Vijay Sethupathi's performance in the film, expressing that the actor deserves a National Award for his brilliant performance. He also praised the music of the film, which is jointly composed by the father-son duo of Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Acclaimed director Mysskin is someone who never fails to appreciate people for their work in cinema and we recently saw him heaping praise on director Manikandan for making Kadaisi Vivasayi. His appreciation indeed gave the film a better mileage with regards to its box office performance. On that note, one more film seems to have caught the attention of the Pisaasu filmmaker. Mysskin is mighty impressed with the recently released trailer of Ashok Selvan's upcoming adult comedy film, Manmatha Leelai, directed by Venkat Prabhu. The ace filmmaker has called the makers and expressed his heartfelt wishes to the team on the same.

Saying that the trailer has got magic, he assured that the film will be a big hit in the theatres. Interesting, right?. Will Mysskin's words turn true? Let us hope it does. Manmatha Leelai stars Ashok Selvan in the lead role and he will be seen romancing three different heroines in the film - Samyuktha Hegde, Smruthi Venkat, and Riya Suman. Venkat Prabhu who is fresh from the success of Maanaadu has directed this venture that is targeted towards the youth audience.

Manmatha Leelai, which has been given a clean 'A' certificate, is set to hit the screens on April 1. Produced by Rockfort Entertainment, the film has music composed by Premgi Amaran, while Thamizh A Azhagan has handled the cinematography. Venkat Prabhu's films are known for their fun quotient and Manmatha Leelai seems to be no exception. Manmatha Leelai will clash along with GV Prakash Kumar's Selfie and Mirchi Shiva's Idiot on April 1.

Mysskin is actively busy with the pre-production works of his next directorial venture, Pisasu 2, that stars Andrea Jeremiah, Rajkumar Pitchumani, and Poorna in the lead roles. Pisasu 2 will have a fresh premise with newer characters and will not have any major connection with the first part. Pisasu became a super hit success at the box office with the support of the audience and the film was lauded by everyone for its unique take on ghosts, souls, and spirits. Mysskin opted to showcase the positive side of a ghost through Pisasu and it won the hearts of the people. He is now getting ready to make the sequel and let us hope that it turns out to be good.

The film’s protagonist, Andrea is celebrating her birthday today (December 21) and wishes have been pouring in for the talented musician turned actress from all quarters. Marking the special occasion, Mysskin released the first look poster of the film. Andrea’s character look was revealed through the poster and it has gone viral among the fans. Andrea’s makeover looks intriguing and it looks like the film has a period touch. The poster makes us curious about the movie and Mysskin manages to tease us with this new poster.

Sharing the poster, the Thupparivaalan director wrote on his Twitter page, “Let’s light the candle and celebrate the special day of our protagonist Andrea. @andrea_jeremiah Happy birthday and wishing you a long creative life. -Mysskin #pisasu2”. The shooting of Pisasu 2 is planned to begin next month and the preparatory works are happening at full swing. A grand set is being constructed at Dindigul. The entire shooting of the film will be completed in a single schedule from start to finish. This horror thriller will be produced by T Muruganantham under the banner of Rockfort Entertainment.

Karthik Raja will compose the music for the film and the fans are super excitedly waiting to listen to his score. Siva Santhakumar will work as the cinematographer, while Kabilan will take care of the lyrics. The song recordings for the movie happened recently and Super Singer fame Priyanka NK crooned for a song. Mysskin had taken to his Twitter page to praise Priyanka's soulful rendition for the film.
