Director Santhosh P Jayakumar, who is known for his adult comedy entertainers like Hara Hara Mahadevaki, Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu, Irandam Kuththu, is all set for his next outing. According to the latest information from our reliable sources, Santhosh P Jayakumar's next directorial venture will star Prabhu Deva in the lead role and the film is said to be in the pre-production stages. We are informed that this film will be bankrolled by S Vinod Kumar under the banner of Mini Studios. Vinod is currently producing the Vishal - Arya starrer, Enemy directed by Anand Shankar. An official announcement regarding the project is expected to be made very soon.

From what we hear, it looks like an interesting project is on cards and let us keep our fingers crossed and wait for the official updates. Santhosh P Jayakumar's last release was Irandam Kuththu, the sequel of Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu. The film released in theatres for last year's Diwali festival, opening to mixed reviews from the general audience. We will have to wait for a few more months to know about the genre of his new film with Prabhu Deva.

Prabhu Deva's next release in Tamil cinema will most likely be Pon Manickavel, directed by AC Mugil. Pon Manickavel is expected to have a direct OTT release on the Disney Hotstar platform and an official announcement regarding the same is awaited. Pon Manickavel is an action drama in which the legendary dancer turned actor will be seen playing a cop. Prabhu Deva has also completed the shooting and waiting for the release of movies like Yung Mung Sungh, Thael, Oomai Vizhigal.

Prabhu Deva is also working on Bagheera which is directed by Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara fame. Bagheera is expected to showcase Prabhu Deva in a new dimension and the teaser of the film set high expectations among the fans. Details regarding the release plans of Bagheera are yet to be known.

The first look poster of Irandam Kuththu was released last week and it created a good buzz on social media, especially among the youngsters. Irandam Kuththu is the sequel of Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu and this adult comedy entertainer is directed by Santhosh P Jayakumar. Notably, he will be making his debut as an actor with this film and it is going to be interesting to see the actor inside him. Santhosh will be supported by Daniel Annie Pope, Ravi Maria, Motta Rajendran, TSK, Chaams, Shalu Shamu, and others. The film's female leads include Karishma, Akriti Singh and Meenal. The teaser of the film has now been released and it is definitely an ‘adults only’ promo.

Unlike the first part, Irandam Kuththu looks to have more romance and intimate scenes and we see a glimpse of it in the teaser. The use of sex objects and the direct adult dialogues could probably be well received by the target audience, but at the same time, we may expect some controversies as well, from a certain section of audience. The official announcement about this deal was made last night by the makers. In an exclusive interaction with Galatta Media, director Santhosh had said that the film has been censored and will release only in theatres, denying the rumours about OTT release. With a strong company like Rockfort Entertainment in the front, we can expect Irandam Kuththu to have a grand release. Rockfort Entertainments has distributed around 148 movies across Tamil Nadu and the list includes films of leading stars like Thalapathy Vijay, Ajith Kumar, Dhanush and others.

Some of their recent big releases include Hiphop Tamizha's Meesaya Murukku, Vaibhav's Meyaadha Maan, Thala Ajith's Veeram and Vivegam, Amala Paul's Aadai, Arya's Magamuni, Dhanush's Asuran, Suriya's Kaappaan, Naan Sirithal and more. As a producer, T Muruganandham of Rockfort Entertainment has produced Atharvaa's next titled Kuruthi Aattam which is directed by 8 Thottakkal fame Sri Ganesh. The shooting of Kuruthi Aattam is completed and the makers are waiting for the theatres to reopen. This intense action drama features Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, while Radikaa Sarathkumar and Radharavi play pivotal roles. Sri Ganesh showed good promise with 8 Thottakkal and let us hope that his second outing turns out to be an interesting watch.

Apart from Kuruthi Aattam, Rockfort Entertainment is also producing director Mysskin's next - Pisaasu 2 that features Andrea Jeremiah and Psycho fame Rajkumar Pitchumani in the lead roles. With happening projects in the pipeline, it looks like bright days are ahead for Rockfort Entertainment.
