Harish Kalyan is an actor who became popular after participating in the reality show Bigg Boss. He has been playing the lead role in many films and his upcoming movie is produced by the legendary cricket M.S.Dhoni. Now, the next project of the actor after the film Let’s Get Married has been announced. Harish Kalyan's next is titled Parking and the actress is to share screen space with Indhuja of Bigil fame for the first time. The actor made the announcement by sharing the poster of the film that shows two cars travelling straight at each other. The film is touted to be a thriller drama that is directed by debutant filmmaker Ramkumar Balakrishnan. Sharing the announcement of his next project, Harish Kalyan said “Every film that I have done is a chance to connect with you people and here I am with another”.

Parking is to be co-produced by Sudhan Sundaram and K.S. Sinish under the banner of Soldiers Factory and Passion Studios. The film will also have music by Sam CS. It is said that the film will also feature veteran actors M.S. Bhaskar, Ilavarasu, Prathana Nathan of Love Today fame and others in important roles The film will also have Jiju Sunny as DOP and editing by Philomin Raj. Along with the announcement poster, Harish Kalyan has also revealed that the first look of the film will be launched soon.

Harish Kalyan has an exciting lineup of upcoming films including Nooru Kodi Vaanavil, Lubber Pandhu and Diesel. The actor is a part of the cricketer M.S. Dhoni's venture into Tamil cinema as a producer titled Let’s Get Married with the debutant filmmaker Ramesh Tamilmani. The film also has Love Today fame Ivana playing the female lead and it is speculated that the film could release in theatres in July. The first single from the film was released recently.

Actor Vijay Vishwa who was formerly known as Abi Saravanan has acted in low-budget films like Pattadhari and has also played small supporting roles in films like Attakathi and Kutti Puli. The actor made his debut in the film Kerala Nattilam Pengaludane, where he played the role of a young man looking for a bride. He portrayed the younger version of a chracter in the film Touring Talkies and also played supporting roles in Prashanth starrer film Saahasam that was released in 2016. He also played a small role in 'Thalapathy' film Bigil. The recent film included playing a supporting role in Sasikumar's Kkombu Vatcha Singamda and has played the lead in the low-budget film Saayam.

The actor Vijay Vishwa was recently injured while performing a stunt in his upcoming project. A video shared by the makers of the film shows the actor falling face-first while jumping off a bike while shooting an action sequence. It can be seen that safety beds were in place for the actor but he was injured as he fell sideways. The actor released a statement after the injury. He said in a video from the hospital on his official Twitter handle that “I was injured in a fight location while shooting a film”. He clarified that he is recovering now as his shoulder was dislocated in the incident/ He also thanked everyone who prayed for his well-being and said he wishes to join the shooting as soon as possible. He posted the video with the caption “Anbe Sivam”

The first look poster of the actor Vijay Vishwa’s upcoming project Paraparapu was released on February 12. It's to be written, directed and music by C.M. Logu. Another film he's associated with is Kumabaari, written and directed by Kevin Joseph. He had also announced earlier on Instagram that he has began working on a new project, and the accident could have happened during that project.

Actress and model Gayathri Reddy announced her engagement on Sunday. Known best among Tamil cinema fans for playing the role of Maari in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Bigil, Gayathri shared photos from her intimate engagement ceremony on social media, with congratulatory messages and wishes pouring in from well-wishers and fans. Taking to Instagram, Gayathri shared pictures and wrote in the caption: "Hand in hand, you and me till the end❤️ 29-04-2022💍" along with the hashtags "#engaged💍 #mrstobe #newchapterbegins". As of now, there are not many details on her fiancé and we can expect the actress to share more about her would-be and the ceremony in the days ahead. Gayathri, who began modeling at an early age right from her toddler days, went on to become the finalist in the beauty pageant Miss India 2016. She later made her acting debut in Tamil cinema in the 'Thalapathy' Vijay box office blockbuster, Bigil, released in 2019. She played the role of Maari and garnered appreciation for her intense performance from fans, with many also complimenting her for her dedication in the sequences where she had to play football. Apart from the on-field scenes in Bigil, Gayathri also appeared in a number of key sequences alongside Vijay and the film's heroine Nayanthara. 

Outside of her role in Bigil, Gayathri Reddy has also appeared in a cameo in the 2021 horror-thriller film, Life, which premiered as a direct OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar. She was also one of the contestants on the reality show Survivor, which was telecast on Zee Tamil last year. 

Bigg Boss Tamil 3 sensation Kavin is making his digital debut in the upcoming aha Tamil web series, Akash Vaani, opposite Bigil fame Reba Monica John. Enoc Able, a former associate of blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Atlee, is making his directorial debut with the web series already creating a lot of positive buzz in the trade and on social media. With the first look for the highly-anticipated web series getting released a few days back to a rousing response from fans, aha Tamil has released the much-awaited Akash Vaani trailer on Monday. 

The Akash Vaani trailer starts off in a college backdrop, with hero Kavin and heroine Reba being introduced alongside their wacky batch of friends and sidekicks. The glimpse progresses to Kavin trying to woo Reba and the couple coming together, while their friends join in on the fun together. They all complete their graduation eventually and Kavin and Reba tie the knot, with the couple then sharing joyous and emotional moments together before tragedy strikes. What those situations are and their resulting outcomes are not revealed in the Akash Vaani trailer, but the visuals tease a balance of fun and drama that will cater to audiences of all ages. 

Not much was revealed about the story up until now and the Akash Vaani trailer has no doubt shed plenty of light on what fans can expect when the web series premieres on February 11 ahead of Valentine’s Day celebrations. The fun romantic drama is targeted towards the youth and the pairing of Kavin and Reba is no doubt the biggest USP as both are exhibiting great chemistry in the latest glimpse. Akash Vaani is Kavin's next big venture after his Lift, which had Amritha Aiyer, who also played a pivotal role in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Bigil. Produced by Kaustubha Mediaworks, the technical team for the web series has Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam fame Guna Balasubramanian for the music, while cinematography and editing are done by Santhakumar Chakravarthy and Kalaivanan, followed by art direction by Gopi Anand, and costume design by Praveen Raja.

Actress Reba Monica John who is best known for her performance as Anitha in Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil, has entered wedlock with her boyfriend and wishes have been pouring in from all quarters for the talented actress. Reba got hitched to Joemon Joseph on Sunday (January 9) morning at a Church and the pictures and videos from the wedding have surfaced on social media. The wedding took place in the presence of the families and friends of the couple. Reba was seen wearing a classy white wedding gown, while Joemon sported a stylish black blazer.

Last year, on Reba's birthday, Joemon proposed the actress and the pictures of him presenting a ring to the young actress went viral on social media, taking everyone by surprise. Following that, the couple has now entered wedlock and they look all excited about this new phase of life. Both of them look good together and the pictures indeed show their beautiful chemistry. Popular Tamil actor-producer Soundararaja and his wife Tamanna have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The news was shared by the actor on social media on Sunday along with a photo in which he and his wife can be seen with their newborn daughter. Sharing the joyous news, Soundararaja extended his gratitude to the wishes coming his way, while also informing fans that he is gifting a tree sapling to his daughter who has come into this earth. Soundararaja and Tamanna married in May 2018 in a grand wedding ceremony in Usilampatti, near Madurai in the presence of family members, close friends and several notable Tamil cinema stars. Tamanna is an entrepreneur and the CEO of Green Apple Entertainments, while Soundararaja has made appearances in a number of big Tamil films over the years. Among the major films he has starred in include his debut Vettai alongside Madhavan and Arya in 2012, which he followed up with a pivotal role in the Sasikumar and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Sundarapandiyan. 

Soundararaja has also made heads turn in roles in blockbusters like Sivakarthikeyan's Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda, Karthi's Kadaikutty Singam, including Vijay Sethupathi's Dharma Durai and 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Theri and Bigil, which turned out to be money-spinners at the box office. He was last seen in the Tamil crime web series Kuruthi Kalam and also played a big role in Dhanush's Jagame Thandhiram under Karthik Subbaraj's direction. 

Varsha Bollamma who was quite noticed for her impressive performance in the Vijay Sethupathi - Trisha starrer 96, got her big breakthrough after acting in Bigil. Varsha Bollamma played a crucial role in Bigil, as one of the footballers and her performance received positive reviews from the audience. Varsha played the character of 'Gayathri' in the film and the success of her character landed her in several interesting projects. One of those projects happens to be Stand Up Rahul. Yes! Varsha will be seen playing the female lead in the upcoming Telugu comedy film, Stand Up Rahul which features Raj Tarun in the lead role. Raj Tarun will be seen playing the role of a standup comedian in this film.

Produced by Nandkumar Abbineni and Bharath Maguluri under the banner of Dream Town Productions, in association with High Five Pictures, the film features Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Indraja, Devi Prasad, Madhurima Narla, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Tejo Bhattaru in supporting roles. The film is directed by Santo. Earlier today (July 9), the makers released the official teaser of the film which has now set good expectations among the film buffs. The teaser looks promising and it is neatly packed with a good dose of comedy. The teaser has a fun and trendy vibe to it and it looks like the film is catered to the youth audience.

Varsha garners good attention with her screen presence and it looks like this film will be an important outing in her filmography. Varsha's last Telugu film was Middle Class Melodies which won positive reviews from the critics and she will be looking forward to maintaining that streak with Stand Up Rahul, as well. The film will have music composed by Sweekar Agasthi, while the cinematography and editing is handled by Sreeraj Raveendran and Raviteja Girijala respectively.

GV Prakash Kumar's next film that is due for release is Vannakkam Da Mappilei, a youthful comedy entertainer, directed by M Rajesh of Siva Manasula Sakthi and Boss Engira Bhaskaran fame. The film marks the reunion of GV Prakash and director Rajesh after Kadavul Irukkan Kumaru and the duo will be looking forward to delivering big, this time. Vannakkam Da Mappilaei is a film that is produced by Sun TV Network and it will have its direct television premiere on the channel. During this Covid phase, Sun TV has been directly premiering Tamil movies through their new initiative, Sun Entertainment, a direct TV release pattern.

Prasanna's Naanga Romba Busy and Vikram Prabhu's Pulikkuthi Pandi are the two films that have released under Sun Entertainment so far and Vannakkam Da Mappilei will be the third venture. The film is all set to be premiered on Sun TV on April 14, marking the festive occasion of Tamil New Year. Post the television premiere, the film will stream on Sun NXT platform. Ahead of the release, the makers have now released the official trailer of the film. The trailer works in parts and it looks like a film that is catered to the mainstream commercial audience. The trailer introduces us to the central characters of the film - Aravind (GV Prakash) and Thulasi (Amritha Aiyer). Aravind falls in love with Thulasi, but eventually, certain situations lead to their break up.

What happens further is going to be Vannakkam Da Mappilei's main crux and though the plot is quite familiar, let us hope that the film engages us with its comedies and screenplay. The reception has been quite mixed and let us hope that the film entertains the audience to its fullest. Director Rajesh's last few outings have not been successful and he will be anticipating for a strong comeback. Vannakkam Da Mappilei will have music composed by GV Prakash Kumar and the film's songs are expected to release soon. Apart from GV Prakash and Amritha Aiyer, the film's star cast also includes the likes of Daniel Annie Pope, Anandaraj, Jayaprakash, Pragadhi, MS Bhaskar, Reshma Pasupuleti, Soundarya Bala Nandakumar, and others.

The happening comedy sensation Yogi Babu will be seen in a cameo appearance and we get to see a glimpse of him in the newly released trailer. Vannakkam Da Mappilei has cinematography by Siddharth Ranganathan, while the art direction and editing have been handled by Suresh Kalleri and Ashish Joseph respectively. 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans are an ecstatic lot after the superstar's Master, which came out last month as a grand Pongal treat, has turned out to be a box office blockbuster. With Master currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Vijay's fans were given a sweet surprise on Friday when reputed South Indian photographer G. Venkat Ram shared for the first time the behind-the-scenes making video of the Bigil first look poster, which includes director Atlee and Vijay. The Bigil first look at the time of its release went so far as to trend worldwide for a few hours after it dropped on social media, with fans from around the world immediately diving and decoding the hidden details and various aspects included in the poster. 

Released worldwide for Diwali in 2018, Bigil directed by Atlee marked the director's third collaboration with Vijay after their previous sensational box office successes, Theri and Mersal. Produced at a massive budget of 180 crores by AGS Entertainment, Bigil turned out to be the duo's highest-grossing film and also broke several records previously held by Vijay. Appearing in dual roles, Vijay as the father character Rayappan and son Michael aka. Bigil, the superstar's performance was celebrated by fans, with the film going on to surpass 250 crores in collections. The success of Bigil and the admiration for Vijay's portrayal of the Rayappan character has since led to many actively requesting for a prequel. 

Bigil, which also included the chart-busters 'Verithanam' and 'Singappenney' tracks, made it yet another successful outing for the A. R. Rahman-Vijay combo in line with their previous films, Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Mersal and Sarkar. Vijay had been paired opposite Nayanthara, who was yet another major USP for the film, considering it was their reunion after almost a decade when they starred together in Villu in 2009. Post the success of Bigil, there were a few speculations that Vijay and Atlee could possibly return yet another time for a new venture, but no official confirmation has come out in that regard. Revolving around the sport of football, Bigil included a large supporting cast among whom were Yogi Babu, Anandaraj, Kathir, Vivek,  Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Vivek, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha Iyer, Soundararaja, Gayathri Reddy, Devadarshini, Dheena, including Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff and former Indian football star IM Vijayan in negative roles.

Vivek is a popular lyricist in Tamil cinema who is known for writing some of the superhit numbers including, 'Poo Avizhum Pozhudhil' (Enakkul Oruvan), 'Vaadi Rasathi', (36 Vayadhinile), 'Shoot the Kuruvi' (Jil Jung Juk), 'Aalaporaan Thamizhan' (Mersal), 'Simtaangaran' (Sarkar), 'Karuppi' (Pariyerum Perumal), 'Singappenney' (Bigil), 'Veyyon Silli' (Soorarai Pottru), 'Rakita Rakita Rakita' (Jagame Thandhiram). The talented lyricist will now make his debut as a screenplay and dialogue writer. Yes! He will be wokring as an additional screenplay writer and dialogue writer for Dhanush's upcoming action thriller, D43 (tentative), directed by Karthick Naren.

It is a known fact that Dhanush will be working with the young and promising Karthick Naren for his 43rd movie and now Vivek's addition as a writer comes as an interesting update. The film is bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films who took to Twitter to share this update. The official tweet of Sathya Jyothi Films read, "Very happy to have collaborated with the super talented @Lyricist_Vivek for Additional screenplay & Dialogues in #D43". Ever since this announcement was made, Vivek started getting wishes from all quarters and he was on cloud nine seeing this reception.

Thanking everyone for the support, Vivek tweeted, "To my media friends n press people who are wishing me and sharing it online. Thank you so so much. It means a lot To Dhanush sirs fans who r pouring their love, literally awestruck by the wishes. Impossible to individually respond to so many msgs. But cherishing ur love". Director Atlee who shares a very good rapport and brotherhood relationship with Vivek, took to his Twitter page to share his excitement about this. Atlee tweeted, "Woowwwwwwww was waiting for this naaaa . It’s a great start and u gona b rockstar for sure congrats again Na".

Vivek will be looking forward to make good use of this opportunity and show his talent as a writer. Notably, D43 already has two other screenplay writers in the form of Sharfu and Suhas, who are known for their work in Malayalam cinema. So, D43 will have 4 screenplay writers - Sharfu, Suhas, Vivek, and Karthick Naren. The film will have music scored by GV Prakash Kumar who is in a great form as a composer. Master sensation Malavika Mohanan will be playing the female lead in this film that is expected to go on floors in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more updates.
