Vairam begins
Politician-turned-director M.A. Nishad's forthcoming film Vairam, starring Suresh Gopi, Mukesh, Jayasuriya, Kalabhavan Mani, Bhama, Samvritha Sunil and Meera Vasudev in the lead roles, will begin shooting from April 15 at Theni, Ernakulam and Thodupuzha.
Popular Tamil-Telugu actor Pasupathi, who is flying high after his striking performances in the recent Raman Thediya Seethai, Kuselan, Vediugundu Murugesan and TN 07 AL 4777, is the major highlight of this film, as he is appearing for the second time in a Malayalam film. (Pasupathi's first film in Malayalam was Big B (2007), starring Mammootty in the lead).
Also in the cast are Thilakan, Jagathy, Sai Kumar, K.P.A.C. Lalitha, Rekha and others. Produced by N. Siva Rao under the banner of NASR India, the film is penned by the director himself. Dialogues and screenplay are by Cherian Kalpakavady. Sanjeev Sankar wields the camera. M. Jayachandran has scored music for written by Gireesh Puthenchery. Vairam is the fourth film by M.A. Nishad, whose earlier ventures were Pakal (2006), Nagaram (2007) and Aayudham (2008).
