Leading Tamil actor Karthi's landmark 25th film, Japan, is gearing up for a grand Diwali release this November, and the online promotions for the highly-anticipated film directed by Raju Murugan of Cuckoo, Joker, and Gypsy fame have kicked off. Billed to be a heist action entertainer, the upcoming film featuring music composed by National Award winner G. V. Prakash Kumar had a fun-filled high-octane teaser released a few days back to a rousing reception, with the much-awaited first single titled 'Touching Touching' now out. The Japan first single 'Touching Touching' sees Karthi dancing to the foot-tapping beats by GV Prakash alongside Namma Veettu Pillai heroine Anu Emmanuel, and is a peppy number that will no doubt strike a chord, especially with the youth and kids.
The Japan first single 'Touching Touching' has been sung by Karthi himself with Indravati Chauhan to the lyrics penned by the multi-talented Arunraja Kamaraj and features choreography by Jani master. It is to be noted that the song is the second time that Jani has collaborated with Karthi after the dance in the 'Kanja Poovu Kannala' song in the blockbuster Viruman (2022) garnered a huge response among fans. The 'Touching Touching' lyrical video from Japan also gives a glimpse into the making of the song, including showing director Raju Murugan coordinating with Jani master, Karthi, Anu Emmanuel, and Telugu actor Sunil of Jailer and Mark Antony fame.
Announced to be coming out in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, Japan is Karthi's fifth Diwali release after All in All Azhagu Raja (2013), Kaashmora (2016), Kaithi (2019), and Sardar (2022). The celebrated actor will be coming out firing on all cylinders considering he is already on a massive winning streak with four back-to-back hits Viruman, Ponniyin Selvan: 1, and Sardar in 2022, and Ponniyin Selvan: 2, which was released earlier this year.
