After Modern Love Chennai, the next Tamil series that is set to release in multiple languages is Sweet Kaaram Coffee. The show revolves around three generations of women played by Veteran actress Lakshmi, a popular actress Madhoo Shah alias Madhubala of Roja fame and Malayalam actress Santhy Balachandran in pivotal roles. The series follows three generations of women in a family and what happens when they take off unannounced on a trip without informing the male-members in the house. The trailer of the series has been released by Prime Video.
The trailer Sweet Kaaram Coffee first introduces the veteran actress Lakshmi speaking in distress that she is dying to get out of the house. The character played by actress Madhoo Shah is shown as a homemaker whose efforts are neglected. The glimpse then introduced the third generation in the family played by Santhy who is a cricketer, torn between passion and love. The trailer then shows the three of them planning to go on an epic road trip and it shows the events that happens after the women begin their trip and the people they meet on the way and their journey. It also shows a glimpse of how their family members at home react to their disappearance.
The trailer creates a huge excitement ahead of the release of the series Sweet Kaaram Coffee on 6th July. The female-centric series also has an exciting cast Lakshmi, Madhoo, Santhy, Vamsi Krishna, Kavin Jay Babu. The series is created by Reshma Ghatala and is directed by Bejoy Nambiar of Solo and David fame, Krishna Marimuthu of Dharala Prabhu fame and Swathi Raghuraman, the producer of Super Deluxe. The series also has music composed by Gopi Vasanth. The series has 8 episodes and is set to release in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil.
