It's a big day for all Sivakarthikeyan fans out there and for the actor himself as he celebrates his 37th birthday today! Also referred to as SK, he is a Tamil actor, playback singer, film producer, lyricist, and television presenter. He began his career as a stand-up comedian and television personality at STAR Vijay, participating in reality shows including the stand-up comedy show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru and dance show Jodi Number One. He later went on to become a regular host of those shows and many other STAR Vijay shows for multiple seasons.

He later made his acting debut with Marina in 2012 and went on to star in films like 3 and Manam Kothi Paravai. He transitioned to performing lead roles in other acclaimed films such as Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Ethir Neechal, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Maan Karate, Kaaki Sattai, Rajini Murugan and Remo. With back to back hits as such, he shot to stardom instantly which is very unlikely in the movie industry. SK currently has various interesting projects in his pipeline and one among those happens to be Ayalaan. A fun little treat was dropped today by the makers of the film in celebration of our favourite star's birthday today (Feb 17). We got a brand new poster of Ayalaan, an upcoming language science fiction film featuring an alien, written and directed by R. Ravikumar. The poster has turned viral instantly on social media, making the fans look forward to the movie. The film stars our SK, Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar and Isha Koppikar in the lead roles. The music is composed by A. R. Rahman making it SK's first movie in collaboration with the Oscar winning music composer. The cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah while editing is trusted in the hands of Ruben. Ayalaan is slated to release in the second half of this year and the fans are in for some solid treat.

Sivakarthikeyan is currently awaiting the release of Don on 25 March 2022. It is an action-comedy written and directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi who is making his directorial debut. The film is produced by Allirajah Subaskaran of Lyca Productions. SK both stars in the lead role and has also co-produced the film under his Sivakarthikeyan Productions banner. Priyanka Arul Mohan, S. J. Suryah, Samuthirakani and Soori appearing in pivotal roles. It features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography and editing by K. M. Bhaskaran and Nagooran respectively.
