Ram Charan and Upasana make their first appearance with their baby, RRR star gives an epic reply about who 'Little Mega Princess' resembles

RRR star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni are beaming with joy after being blessed with a baby girl earlier this week. The mother and the baby were discharged at around 1 p.m. from the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad on Friday, June 23, as she and her husband took their little one home. This is the first time Ram Charan and Upasana are making a public appearance along with their two-day-old daughter. Addressing media persons gathered at the hospital, the star couple extended their gratitude to fans for their hearty wishes and celebrations. Upasana delivered a healthy baby girl on June 20 at 1:49 pm. and she and Ram Charan recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary days before the birth of their daughter. 

Speaking to the media, Ram Charan said, "I would like to thank the media, friends, and family members. As my father said, my daughter was born on June 20. Upasana has made a good recovery and we are now going home. I would like to convey my gratitude to the doctors and the staff members for taking good care of us. We feel so lucky. There were no complications during the delivery and both the mother and the baby are doing very well. Your prayers will never be forgotten. I feel grateful for the wishes that we have received from around the world. Thank you so much." Upon being queried about the baby's name, the Telugu superstar said, "We haven't finalized yet. As per our tradition, we will finalize the name on the 21st day." Ram Charan was also asked if the baby looked like him or Upasana to which the actor said that she looks like him leaving everyone in splits.

Soon after the official announcement of the baby's birth, a celebration was held at the hospital where Ram Charan's father and veteran actor Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha Konidala, the RRR star's sisters Sushmitha, Sreeja, Niharika Konidela, followed by Allu Aravind and his wife Nirmala Allu, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, and several others paid a visit. Earlier this week, Chiranjeevi too expressed his joy at the arrival of the 'Little Mega Princess' and wrote on Twitter, "Welcome Little Mega Princess !! You have spread cheer among the Mega Family of millions on your arrival as much as you have made the blessed parents @AlwaysRamCharan & @upasanakonidela and us grandparents, Happy and Proud!! (sic)".
