Gautham Vasudev Menon is riding the high on the release of his latest venture Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu starring Silambarasan TR which was released theatrically today (September 15). The film opened to mixed reviews from fans and critics alike as well as the general public. This musical gangster film also stars Siddhi Idnani, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav and Aangelina Abraham in prominent roles with its music composed by Isaipuyal v  A. R. Rahman.

Gautham Vasudev Menon is known for making romantic and action movies but came out of his comfort zone and delivered a completely different film with VTK. Now the renowned director has confirmed that he is doing a movie with Ram Pothineni recently had success with the film The Warriorr. Rekha, who is the PRO of this upcoming project, took to Twitter to share this amazing news. Announcing this, she wrote, "We shot #VendhuThanindhathuKaadu / #TheLifeOfMuthu in 55 days uncompromisingly. You'll see the peak performance of @SilambarasanTR_  in this film. Gautham Menon himself stated this during the promotion of his latest film, The Life Of Muthu (Telugu version of VTK), with actor Simbu. Gautham Menon’s The Life Of Muthu is going to be released on September 17. It has been rumored that the film will be bankrolled by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore on a massive scale. Gautham Menon also has another movie awaiting release titled Dhruva Nakshatram starring Chiyaan Vikram.

Ram needs to finish his current projects before he turns his focus on GVM’s movie. The young and energetic actor will be seen next in a mass pan-Indian movie which will be directed by Boyapati Srinu. The film is going to be a high-octane action entertainer and is being mounted on a huge scale of around 100 crores. The makers of The Warriorr movie, Srinivasaa Silver Screen, will be making this film as well.
