Radikaa Sarathkumar on Sunday announced that production on the highly-anticipated Chandramukhi 2 has been wrapped. Sharing photos from the sets of the upcoming film, the celebrated actress took to social media and spoke in high regard about veteran filmmaker P. Vasu, while also showering praise on actor-director Raghava Lawrence, who had presented her with a gold ring and a watch after filming came to a conclusion. Revealing that the Rudhran star is the first-ever hero to gift her gold, Raadika stated that his gesture left her moved. "It was a pleasure to work with a director who knows his craft and job thoroughly #pvasu @lyca_productions #chandramukhi2 Thank you @offl_lawrence wow a heart of gold, who gifted me a gold ring and a watch as we wrapped up the film❤️❤️❤️❤️this is the first hero who has gifted me gold, was sooo touched by his genuine affection ❤️❤️❤️❤️(sic)," Radikaa wrote on her Instagram page.

Raghava Lawrence's Chandramukhi 2 will see Radikaa Sarathkumar alongside several big names among whom include National Award winner Kangana Ranaut, who is playing the female lead, with 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Srushti Dange, Ravi Mariya, Subiksha in key roles, and will feature music by Academy Award-winning composer M. M. Keeravani, who won the Oscar for his 'Naatu Naatu' song in the global hit, RRR. Radikaa has constantly shared pictures and videos from the sets of Chandramukhi 2, including one with Vadivelu on Saturday in which he recreated one of his famous comedy dialogues from a previous film.
Being produced under the Lyca Productions banner, Chandramukhi 2 is carrying tremendous buzz ever since it went on floors last year and fans will be looking forward to seeing what's in store up ahead. Speaking to the press after the release of Rudhran, Raghava Lawrence revealed that the team was planning to bring the film to theatres in September on the festive occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi, with an official announcement now being awaited.
