Pathu Thala has Silambarasan TR in the lead role and is set to hit the theatres on March 30. The film is a remake of the Kannada film Mufti and is directed by Sillunu Oru Kaadhal fame Obeli N Krishna. The flick also has Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Gautham Vasudev Menon in important roles. The film is produced by Studio Green. It has created an expectation among fans as STR has been delivering hits over the last few years including Maanaadu and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. The actor looks rugged in the role of AGR, a don who holds power in the Kanyakumari district.
The director of Pathu Thala had announced during an event that there is a special cameo in the film by a popular actress. They then revealed that Sayyeshaa, the new mom and wife of popular actor Arya has done a cameo in Pathu Thala being a part of a special song. The song video has now been released. The sizzling number Raawadi is composed by AR Rahman, lyrics penned by Snehan and has vocals by Nivas and Shuba. The groovy dance features Gautham Karthik. The dance number is choreographed by the famous Brinda master.
Sayyesh was last seen in the film Teddy which was released directly on Disney+ Hotstar. The actress married Arya after their reel romance in Ghajinikanth became real. The couple got married in 2019 and welcomed their first child in 2021. This is the first on-screen appearance of the actress after she became a mother. She said in an event of the film that it was exciting to be back on camera again. The actress was a trained dancer and has expressed her passion for the dance in various films. The video song has come as a special treat to fans who are expecting the reelase of the film in theatres.
