Nivin Pauly is all set and geared up for the release of his next movie, Padavettu which is scheduled to hit the screens on October 21 for the festive weekend of Diwali. The much-awaited trailer of the film was unveiled this evening (October 7) and it has opened to a positive response from the audience. The trailer gives us a detailed picture of the world that the film is set in and interestingly, the core suspense element of the film is maintained. The trailer has been cut in an intriguing fashion that it piques our curiosity and makes us look forward to watching the film. Nivin Pauly appears in two different looks and he seems to have pulled off a very intense and riveting performance.

He shoulders the trailer and it looks like the film will showcase a different dimension him. This intense political action drama is directed by Liju Krishna and the filmmaker seems to have got a potential winner in hand. Aruvi sensation Aditi Balan plays the female lead and we get to see a short glimpse of her in the trailer. Shine Tom Chacko plays one of the antagonists in the film and his faceoff against Nivin looks interesting in the trailer. Shammi Thilakan, Indrans, and several other prominent actors are also a part of the star cast. Produced by Saregama India in association with Sunny Wayne Productions, the film has music composed by Govind Vasantha.

Deepak D Menon has handled the cinematography while the editing and stunt choreography departments are headed by Shafique Mohamed Ali and Dinesh Subbarayan respectively. Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly is also awaiting the release of his next Tamil film which is directed by Ram. Anjali plays the female lead in this untitled flick that has Soori in an important role. Maanaadu producer Suresh Kamatchi has bankrolled the project.
