Coffee With Kadhal is an upcoming romanctic comedy movie written and directed by Sundar C. Produced by Kushboo Sundar and ACS Arun Kumar under the banners of Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media respectively, the film stars Jiiva, Jai, Srikanth, Amritha Aiyer, Malvika Sharma, Raiza Wilson, Aishwarya Dutta, Dhivadarshini, Samyuktha Shanmugam, Redin Kingsley, Yogi Babu & others. The music for the movie was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography handled by E Krishnasamy and editing done by Fenny Oliver.
It was earlier announced that the fourth single from the film was to release today and with today being here, so is the song. Titled 'Naalaiya Pozhudhu', the lyrical video of the mesmerizing song just dropped. Apart from composing the music for the song, Yuvan has also lent his voice to this beautiful song to the lovely words penned by Pa Vijay.
The first single from the film titled 'Rum Bum Bum' that was released was a new version of the song that originally featured in the Kamal Haasan starrer Micheal Madana Kama Rajan and was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The new version is a celebratory dance number set in the backdrop of a wedding. The second single was titled 'Baby Gurl', while the fourth was 'Thiyagi Boys'.
The shoot was held extensively in Ooty and has been wrapped up. We hear that most of the portions were canned in the same locales as the Bollywood film, Kapoor & Sons. The plot of Coffee with Kadhal is said to revolve around four siblings played by Jiiva, Jai, Srikanth, and Dhivyadarshini. As per reports, Jiiva will play an IT professional, Jai a chef and Srikanth will play a musician.
Sundar C and Yuvan Shankar Raja are coming together after a gap of almost two decades as the last time they collaborated was back in 2003 for the movie Winner starring Prashanth and Kiran Rathod, along with Vadivelu. The songs and the film both went on to become successful hits.
