Maushmi Udeshi's item number in Koffi Bar
Mumbai-based model-turned-actress Maushmi Udeshi may not be familiar to most�the audiences down South! But she came to public attention when�reports surfaced about how she�warded off a man who broke the security cordon and groped her while she was shooting for a film song�in Madurai.
Maushmi Udeshi was in Madurai, shooting for an item number (in a special set in Shamshabad near Madurai) in director Geeta Krishna's upcoming bilingual Koffi Bar (also spelt Coffee Bar), being made in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada under the banner of Blue Fox Cinema. During the shoot, a�stranger broke the security cordon, came up to Maushmi�and groped her, but she repelled his unwelcome advances and he was taken away by the security guards.�
Starring Sashank and Biyanka Desai in the lead, Koffi Bar is set in the backdrop of love with current social issues. Music, dialogues and screenplay are handled by the director himself. He has set music to six songs penned by Vanamali. Cinematography is by Murali. Expected to grace screens in September, the film will be distributed in the US by Adlabs.
