Actor Mahesh Babu's pet dog died recently, the Telugu superstar's wife Namrata Shirodkar confirmed on social media. She took to Instagram on Thursday, August 17, and penned an emotional tribute while sharing photos of their beloved pet. Sharing the pictures that were taken on different occasions, Namrata wrote in the caption: "We will miss you Pluto in our hearts forever and always. (sic)" The family received support from fans in the comments section of the post, with one person writing, "Heartbreaking", while another said, "So sorry", as many others dropped broken heart emojis.

Mahesh Babu too took to Instagram to post an adorable photo of himself with Pluto along with three red heart emojis in the caption. Although the actor didn't share anything else, the picture of his special moment with his beloved pet has touched many. Mahesh Babu's daughter Sitara too expressed her grief at the passing of Pluto on Instagram. Sharing a picture of the beloved pet dog, she wrote, "Ill miss u so much. u made it 7 years u beast." Replying to her post, mom Namrata wrote, "He will always be in our hearts and prayers." Her aunt Shilpa Shirodkar too offered her words of solace to Sitara and said, "Oh Sitaru… take care my baby."
On the work front, Mahesh Babu will be next seen in the upcoming Telugu action drama Guntur Kaaram being directed by blockbuster filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo fame and is the third time the duo is collaborating after Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2010). The upcoming film's first look was unveiled earlier this month on the actor's birthday revealing him in an action avatar. A teaser for Guntur Kaaram along with the tagline 'highly inflammable' was also released on the occasion showing Mahesh Babu going up against several goons and taking them down.
