The Kannada-language period action film, KGF : Chapter 1, starring Yash was the first installment in the two part series directed by Prashanth Neel about Kolar Gold Fields and was simultaneously released with dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
Now, Yash who gained immense popularity with KGF across south India has gone to Cochin for the trailer launch of Mammootty's Yatra, the biopic of Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. The movie being predominantly released in Telugu is dubbed in Malayalam owing to Mammootty’s popularity with the acclaimed National Award-winning actor himself dubbing for his portions.
Yash when released the trailer, he praised about the Malayalam Superstar as follows, “Mammootty sir is an inspiration. It’s not an easy feat to be active in the industry for over 4 decades and still have a demand for films. He is a legend!”
He also praised Jagapathi Babu, who is also part of Yatra as Mammootty’s father and stated, “I’ve also closely followed Jagapathi Babu sir’s films since my childhood. Recently, I was spellbound by his presence in the trailer of Jr. NTR’s Aravindha Sametha; I’m yet to see the complete film though.”
