Debutante director Prabhu Raja Cholan's upcoming romantic drama Karuppampatti, featuring Ajmal and Aparnaa Bajpai in the lead roles, is all set to hit screens on March 22! The story of the film, which travels through three eras-pre 80's, the 80's and the current era, is inspired by the real life tale of a French girl, who comes to Chennai to trace her ancestry.

Music for Karuppampatti is composed by Kannan. Cinematography is handled jointly by Santhosh Sriram and Sanjeevi Sathyaseelan, and editing is by Lenin. The film is produced by Sundar. K under his banner Sundar Pictures.
