Karuppampatti is an upcoming romantic film, directed by debutante Prabhu Raja Chola, a former associate of Shankar, and features Ajmal, Aparnaa Bajpai and Archana in the lead roles. The film will be hitting the screens on March 15! Music has been composed by Kannan and lyrics penned by Kabilan. India's 'Disco King' Bappi Lahiri has crooned a disco song in the film.

The story of the film, which is packed with lots of action and humour, is inspired by the real life tale of a French girl, who comes to Chennai to trace her ancestry. Karuppampatti is being produced by Sundar. K under Sundar Pictures.
