Congratulations are in order for leading Kannada actress Sanjjanaa Galrani and her husband Azeez Pasha as the couple has welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The joyous news was shared by Dr. Shilpi Reddy, who took to social media to drop the big announcement along with a photo of the star from the hospital. Sharing the picture on her Instagram Story, the doctor wrote, "Congratulations. It's a baby boy." Sanjjanaa, who appeared as a contestant on the Kichcha Sudeep-hosted Bigg Boss Kannada season 1 in 2013, tied the knot with Azeez, a doctor by profession, in a secret wedding in May 2020 during the first lockdown. She later revealed that her marriage was never a secret and did not want to make it public.
Sanjjanaa, who made the decision to start a family at 35, revealed earlier that she had to undergo treatment for health issues. The actress, who was friends with Azeez since the ageof 16, had health complications like acute lower back pain, which was caused due to a weight gain. Sanjjanaa had stated that she had put on more than 18 kilos in the process which was a major reason for her back pain. Post the announcement of her pregnancy, the actress kept her fans on social media frequently updated with her journey into motherhood with several photos and videos. Sanjjanaa, who has garnered a fan following over the years in Kannada and Telugu cinema, celebrated her baby shower ceremony a few days back according to the South Indian and Muslim traditions along with her husband and in the presence of their family members and close friends.
In the meantime, Sanjjanaa Galrani's sister, actress Nikki Galrani, who has a big following among Tamil cinema fans, got married to actor Aadhi Pinisetty on Thursday in an intimate wedding ceremony in Chennai, with the newly-wed couple all smiles in the photos and videos that are doing the rounds on social media.
