Cobra is one of the most talked-about film of the year. The upcoming Indian film is written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu who is known for making Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal. The film is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under the banner 7 Screen Studio. The film features an ensemble cast with Vikram in the titular role along with KGF beauty Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Mohammad Ali Baig, Kaniha, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi and K.S. Ravikumar in supporting roles.

The original score and soundtrack are composed by world-renowned music director A. R. Rahman. The makers of the film have dropped the entire jukebox of Cobra through Sony Music South. This jukebox not only includes the songs that have already been released like ‘Thumbi Thullal’, ‘Adheeraa’, and ‘Uyir Urugudhey’ but also features two new songs – ‘Tharangini’ and ‘Yele Ilanchingamey’.

That being said, the songs will be publicly available for all to tune into and catch their favorite songs from this amazing jukebox. This is truly a delight and a great treat for fans of A. R. Rahman and Vikram and will be truly appreciated by all.

As per the film's official trailer, one can see Vikram in various different looks. It had been earlier stated that Vikram will be seen in 25 different looks. We can only wait and watch if that is true or not and this has kept fans on high alert. The film also marks the acting debut of Indian Cricketer Irfan Pathan and also the Tamil debuts of Srinidhi Shetty, Sarjano Khalid and Roshan Mathew. Cobra is scheduled for a pan-Indian release on 11 August 2022 and will be available to watch in Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam.
