Cobra is an upcoming Tamil film written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu of Imaikkaa Nodigal fame and produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under the banner of 7 Screen Studio. The film features an ensemble cast with Chiyaan Vikram in the eponymous role along with Srinidhi Shetty who will be marking her debut in Tamil cinema. Indian cricketing legend Irfan Pathan, Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Mohammad Ali Baig, Kaniha, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi, and K. S. Ravikumar also play very important roles in the movie. in supporting roles.

Earlier today (August 20), the makers of the film announced that the film has been certified. Taking to Twitter, the social media team of 7 Screen Studio wrote, "CERTIFIED 🔥 #ChiyaanVikram's #Cobra all set to hit screens Worldwide On August 31 💥 #CobraFromAugust31 ". Check it out: 

From the likes of the teaser and songs that have already been released to the public, it is safe to say that the movie might get a U/A certificate as it does not look like it has any adult content or anything that is NSFW (Not Safe For Work). The true certificate is likely to be revealed sometime soon so let us just wait and watch.   

Cobra is all set and gearing up to set the screens on fire at the end of this month as the pan-Indian movie is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 31 August 2022. This film marks the film debut of Indian Cricketer Pathan and also the Tamil film debuts of Sarjano Khalid and Roshan Mathew. The original score and soundtrack are composed by A. R. Rahman, with cinematography handled by Harish Kannan and edited by Bhuvan Srinivasan.
