Popular Tamil television and film actress Shwetha Bandekar shared new photos of her pregnancy on social media in which she is seen flaunting her baby bump. Taking to Instagram, she captioned the pictures, "Baby is loading", with congratulatory messages and wishes pouring in from well-wishers and fans. Shwetha, who tied the knot with Mal Maruga in December 2022 in Chennai, announced the news of her pregnancy back in April this year. The couple had kept the news of their engagement a secret until the last moment, with the news then coming as a big surprise to fans. Check out Shwetha's post below:
Shwetha Bandekar has been a part of the Tamil entertainment industry for more than a decade after she debuted in Aalwar (2007) playing Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's sister. She later made appearances in several other notable Tamil films that included Valluvan Vasuki, Poova Thalaiya, Meeravudan Krishna, Idhayam Thiraiarangam, Naan Than Bala, and the Jayam Ravi and Trisha-starrer Bhooloham. Shwetha found big success and popularity among Tamil audiences after appearing on Sun TV's hit serials Magal (2009–2011) and Chandralekha (2014–2022). While Magal saw her feature in an important role, the popular actress hit the bullseye playing dual roles in Chandralekha, which aired more than 2,000 episodes.
After her appearances on Magal and Chandralekha, Shwetha Bandekar took a short break from acting but returned to the small screen in 2016 with the Zee Tamizh serial Lakshmi Vandhachu. She has since also appeared on other popular Sun TV serials like Nila, Roja, Magarasi, including Anbe Vaa, to name a notable few.
