Actor Ajith, for the 3rd time in his career is teaming up for the third time with director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor for this upcoming film Thunivu. The trio have previously come together for the 2019 legal drama Nerkonda Parvai and the action film Valimai which hit the screens earlier this year on February. The much awaited film also stars Manju Warrier of Asuran fame as the female lead with Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Premkumar, Veera and many others in supporting roles.
Speaking of the cast, it has now been confirmed that 3 big television personalities will also be seen in the film. These 3 are those who made a name for themselves through the hit Tamil reality show Bigg Boss - Pavani Reddy (Season 5), Amir (Season 5) and Ciby Chandran (Season 5). This was confirmed after Pavani Reddy took to her official Instagram handle and shared a story in which she put up a picture of the three smiling for the camera.
This new information has gained a lot of traction and is going viral over various social media platforms. It is speculated that the film will revolve around a bank heist. The shooting for this upcoming film is currently going on in full swing. After Ajith and Manju's return from their Ladakh bike trip, the team has now made their way to Thailand for the final schedule of the film's shoot.
Once that is done, all that is left will be a bit of post production work before the film hits the theatres. It is believed that the film is slated for a theatrical release early next year on the occasion of Pongal. It is also believed that the film will not just be released in Tamil but also in multiple languages.
