Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 sensation Pavni has opened up on her medical journey informing fans on social media that she recently underwent an endoscopic discectomy surgery after severe pain in her neck. Posting photos of herself from the hospital, the popular model and actress explained in a detailed statement that she began feeling a small pain in her neck, which gradually began to increase each day. Revealing that the last 15 days have been a tough phase in her life, Pavni said that she had to fly to Hyderabad to complete shooting for a project despite the immense pain, but was given support by her team and family members.

Taking to her Instagram, Pavni said, "So These 15 days of my life was so tough to spend. It just began with the small pain in the neck. And pain started increasing day by day. I consulted many orthopedist, started my physiotherapy but the pain went unbearable. I started crying out of the pain spent many sleepless nights and In between I had even shoots to attend. Hook or crook I had to work. I dint had an Option to take a break . So I chose to work, with this pain and flied to Hyderabad. the people on my sets were very supportive made me feel like home. and that’s how I completed my shoot part.(sic)" She added, "I continued my physiotherapy everyday but the pain still went worse, I could not lift my right hand felt like it was broken. early morning waking up and getting ready was a big task for me. I would scream louder out of the pain. hit the wall feeling helpless. Getting ready for the shoots. and I finally ended up with this ( Endoscopic discectomy) surgery done by Dr Sukumar nd @asian.spine.hospital now feeling much better and out of the pain a big thanks to them. will be getting discharged today. (sic)"
Extending her gratitude to her family members and her boyfriend and former Bigg Boss co-contestant Amir, Pavni thanked them for surprising her by driving to Hyderabad to check up on her and provide her with necessary support. She wrote, "In this process not only me but my family nd my friends also suffered a lot. thank u @amir__ads for being there in this pain I know I have disturbed your sleep and your work too. I know I just become a cranky baby, when I am in pain.😬and that was so sweet of you and @niroopnandakumar for driving all the way to Hyderabad to surprise me love you both 😘 (sic)". Concluding her statement, Pavni said, "Thank u @anu_anushachowdary for always being there for me. I know that was a task for you to put me back to normal. I know I have troubled you too. thanks for taking my mood swings, anger, frustration thanks to Mamtha too. thanks to my family my friends who visited me and made me feel special. Love you all missed you all (sic)".
On the work front, Pavni was last seen along with Amir in Ajith Kumar's blockbuster Thunivu earlier this year and the duo are reuniting for a new project currently in production. The star couple will be sharing screen space in an upcoming film launched in April, which is billed to be a romantic comedy and will feature actors Mansoor Ali Khan, Gayathri Jayaram, and VTV Ganesh in key roles.
