Vasanthabalan's long awaited Aravan is all set to grace theatres on March 2, 2012. The film is the story of an ordinary man with an extraordinary talent. Aravan is based on one of the many stories that were part of 'Kaavalkottam' (a collection of novels penned by Su. Venkatesan). Singer Karthik is making his debut as music director in this flick.
The cast of the movie includes Aadhi, Dhaniska, Archana Kavi andPasupathy. "The film is set in the 18th century. Usually people think that a period film will have a documentary feel but Aravan will be very racy and entertaining. The film will have all the elements needed for a commercial entertainer," Aadhi said in an exclusive interview to Galatta.com.
The movie is produced by T. Siva under the banner of Amma Creations. The technical team includes Siddharth (camera) and Vijay Murugan (art direction).
