From the makers of Baahubali, comes an aha Tamil Original series Anya's Tutorial. The series is directed by filmmaker Pallavi Gangireddy, a former collaborator with renowned director A.R. Murugadoss, and stars Regina Cassandra, Nivedhithaa Sathish, and Mathu Vadhalara of Agastya fame. Written by Sowmya Sharma and produced by Arka Mediaworks, the official teaser of the series was launched today by none other than Rebel Star Prabhas himself who is a personal friend of Arka Media.
Prabhas unveiled the teaser and wished the entire cast and crew the best of luck and also said, "Anya's tutorial teaser has been screened with great interest". This kickstarted promotions for this exciting new web series. The teaser has a thrilling setup and compelling background music with elements of horror and psychological thriller scattered here and there. No other important plot details or plot points have been divulged by the makers but that did not stop the fans from going gaga over it. With just seven episodes, the web series is set to set to stream on Aha from 1 July 2022.
The series marks the debut of actress Nivedhithaa Sathish in the Telugu industry. She has earlier made her presence in the Tamil film industry with films such as Magalir Mattum and Sethum Aayiram Pon. Regina and Nivedhithaa play siblings in Anya’s Tutorial. As for the series' plot, it revolves around a unique cyber-horror story between two sisters. While Lavanya, or Anya, tries to build her career as an aspiring social media influencer, her sister Madhu does not like the profession that her sister has opted for. Anya aspires to become a social media influencer but Madhu does not like the profession that her sister has opted for. But everything changes when Anya goes live with her tutorials one day and strange happenings begin to take place.
