Popular television presenter Manimegalai has officially announced that she is quitting the popular cooking reality show Cooku with Comali after being a part of the show since its inception three seasons ago. Manimegalai, who was known for her lively presence on the show, announced her decision to quit on social media, thanking everyone for their support. In a post on social media, Manimegalai shared a picture of herself from her last episode and wrote, "Today is my last episode of Cooku with Comali. Announcing 'Naa varamaaten' in 'Naane varuven' getup ;) Everyone of you has showered immense love since the first season in 2019 for all my performances in CWC. So grateful for everything." Manimegalai also expressed her gratitude for the love and support she had received from fans during her time on the show, saying, "I always take extra effort to be the best in whatever opportunities & situations given to me. Hope I did konjam justice in entertaining you all in CWC too. And the love I received from you all is unexpected. Expecting to receive the same love in whatever I do💛"

Cooku with Comali is a popular cooking reality show that has gained worldwide popularity over the past three seasons. The show features noted comedians who join the contestants in the cooking process. While VJ Rakshan hosts the show, Chef Dhamu and Chef Venkatesh Bhat serve as the judges.
Manimegalai made her debut as a Video Jockey on Sun Music and went on to host popular shows such as Super Hits, Franka Sollata, Black, and Kollywood Diaries. She gained fame as a television anchor for her live shows and celebrity interviews. In 2016, she was awarded the Best Anchor by the World Human Integration Council and nicknamed Anchor Superstar by her fans. Manimegalai left Sun Network after 9 years to participate in the reality show Mr. And Mrs. Chinnathirai with her husband on Vijay Television in January 2019.
