Raid in Popular TV host's house? Breaking Statement here!
Recently, rumours were rife on social media that Telugu actor Anasuya Bharadwaj and TV host Suma Kanakala haven’t paid their GST taxes yet and added that raids happened at their respective houses. This created confusion among the fans of both the talents. However, leaving no time for speculations, Anasuya and Suma took to their respective social media forums to clarify on the controversy. Both of them slashed the rumours to be baseless and false.
Anasuya, who initially started off her career as a television anchor, went on to become an actor who featured in films like Rangasthalam, F2:Fun and Frustration and Meeku Mathrame Cheptha. Suma is also a known figure among the household audience. Anasuya’s official statement on this controversy stated, “Dear respected Media, My house is neither in Banjara Hills nor there has been any “raid” by any govt bodies at my place off late.. Media is meant to give information.. not to give personal assumptions or views..
We in the entertainment industry make a lot of sacrifices to be where we are and to earn the respect and name .. and Media as a powerful house should focus in doing good and lead the society to be good and not injure or impair one’s hard earned Personality.. I request the Media to get your facts right before you throw your light on any issue.. Thank you & Regards Always.”
On the other hand, Suma stated, “There is a news that gst raids have happened in my house . Which house ? Where? I have been a prompt payer of gst. I have worked hard to reach this position. Why don’t some newspapers and channels check the authenticity before posting such rubbish about me. #behuman#beresponsible”. Well, the rumours were put down to rest only after these clarifications were made.
