Tamil filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth dropped pictures of her father-actor ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s meeting with American businessman and Microsoft founder Bill Gates at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s three-day pre-wedding bash earlier this week in Jamnagar, Gujarat, hosted by Indian tycoon Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani. Aishwarya’s pictures chronicle her family’s journey to Jamnagar starting with a photo in a chartered flight in which she is seen with her father Rajinikanth and mother Latha Rajinikanth casually engaged in a conversation.
The next picture is one for the photography enthusiasts showing Rajinikanth and Latha enjoying the view from their balcony, with Aishwarya capturing the moment perfectly. We then see the family all decked up in traditional attire and posing for the camera from their stay, with Rajinikanth dressed in a white shirt and veshti. There is also a photo of Rajinikanth and family meeting Bill Gates, and are all smiles during their conversation, with the next two pictures capturing Aishwarya Rajinikanth engaged in book reading sessions.
Posting the photos on Instagram from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding party, Aishwarya Rajinikanth extended her gratitude to her hosts Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani, while calling the ceremony a "magical" one and declaring the weekend spent with her parents as "memorable and lovely". She captioned her post: "Thank you to our most gracious hosts @nita.ambaniii and @mukesh.ambani19 uncle..most magical pre wedding of dear #anantandradhika memorable and lovely weekend spent with appa and Amma ! #makingmemories❤️" (sic) On the work front, Aishwarya recently made a big filmmaking comeback with the sports action drama, Lal Salaam, which revolved around cricket and featured Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles, with Rajinikanth appearing in an extended cameo as Moideen bhai and also had music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman.
Nearly 1,200 guests among whom included several big personalities and dignitaries from around the world, leading Hollywood and Bollywood A-listers graced Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding party. Among those who took part in the celebrations were Mark Zuckerberg, Sunder Pichai, Ivanka Trump, Rihanna, Akon, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ram Charan, and Atlee to name a notable few. Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant, is set to tie the knot with Anant Ambani in July.
