Popular Tamil cinema and television stars Amir ADS and Pavni Reddy have been a favorite among fans since their appearance on Bigg Boss Tamil season 5. Having been featured together in the Ajith Kumar blockbuster Thunivu (2023), the duo has come a long way giving major relationship goals and also recently took part in a special fans festival organized by Galatta Media on the occasion of International Women's Day. During their interaction with fans, Amir opened up on the one situation he would not want to see Pavni go through after taking responsibility of her, while also revealing the promise he made to himself about her.
Speaking about Pavni and her past, Amir said, "After her husband passed away... I don't know what the others are thinking about her, but she still has those feelings. There's still that pain in her. She has never asked me about removing the tattoo on her hand. She doesn't have that feeling either. She has loved him so much. I've said that she's a strong lady. If she fights, she'll forget that within half an hour. But, other than all this, there's still a lot of pain in her. When she fights, she'll say, 'I'm like this. I'm unlucky in relationships.' She said the same to you too sometime back. When I was in the Bigg Boss, the one thing that everyone kept saying was, 'She will forget everything in a few days. She will let go even after saying okay.' There were also people saying that we're in a live-in relationship and would eventually part ways. We would get married this year and get divorced, and so on. When I hear such things, the one thing that kept running in my mind was none of this is going to happen. I know what I'm going to do."
Amir further stated, "I have never shared this with her, but when she feels and talks about her past, I would think that this scene is never going to happen in my life. I always tell that to myself. I don't know whether others claim that I'm saying all this for namesake, but I know that she will have a question within herself. She will even ask herself after wearing a dress, 'Will Amir like this? Will he like that I'm going to this place?' But, I never ask a single question to her. She would suddenly think about her past and ask me a random question, but no such thought would have ever occurred in my head."
Pavni then chimed in saying, "Our lifestyles are completely different. The way we were brought up is completely different. But, I had a thought at the time, 'This boy is from an orthodox family. Whereas me, my family is super, super cool. There was a good upbringing and respect was taught. There was no control. Yes, my dad was very strict. My mom also. After a certain time, they knew we can handle their lives. So, they gave us that liberty. Now, we have that freedom. So, I began to think, 'Amir is not a boy like this, but how did he accept my lifestyle?' I would sit and ask questions, but never has he told me anything.' "
