Ace Telugu actor Dr Rajashekar and his wife, Jeevitha were recently tested positive for Coronavirus and the news worried their fans across the country. Rajashekar’s daughter Shivathmika Rajashekar informed her followers and well wishers that her father has been fighting hard to recover from the virus and requested everyone to pray for his recovery. "Dear All, Nanna's fight with covid has been difficult, yet he is fighting hard. We believe that it is your prayers, love and well wishes that protect us and keep us going. I am here asking you, to pray for Nanna's speedy recovery! With your love, he'll come out stronger", she tweeted. However, the family clarified that his condition is stable.

Having said that, the management of Citi Neuro Centre, the hospital where Rajasekhar is admitted for treatment, has issued a statement informing everyone about his current health status. The hospital management has mentioned that Rajashekar is currently in the ICU under Non - Invasive Ventilatory Support. The hospital’s official statement reads, “Sri Dr V Rajasekar who had been admitted at Citi Neuro Centre for Severe COVID - 19 is on Non - invasive ventilatory support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). His current clinical condition is stable. He is responding to treatment and continues to be closely monitored by our clinical team,”. Rajashekar’s fans across the country are praying for his speedy recovery.

Telugu Superstar Chiranjeevi took to his Twitter page to share his positive words to Shivathmika Rajashekar. Chiranjeevi tweeted, “Dear @ShivathmikaR Wishing your loving dad and my colleague and friend #DrRajashekar a speedy recovery. All our best wishes and prayers are with him and your family. Stay Strong.”. Similarly, veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu wished for the speedy recovery of Rajashekar and Jeevitha. He posted, “Wishing my colleagues and dear friends #Rajasekhar and #jeevitha a speedy recovery. I am sure they will recover well and start filming by the grace of Sai Baba.” Quite a lot of other actors from Telugu cinema have extended their moral support to Rajashekar’s family during these tough times.
