Action King Arjun has won the Karnataka State Award under the Best Actor category, for his performance in the 2012 Kannada film Prasad, directed by Manoj! Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja composed music for the film.

Arjun, who hails from Karnataka, works predominantly in Kollywood, but has done many Kannada movies too! The actor will next be seen in director Vasanth's Moondru Per Moondru Kadal.
