Ever since the COVID-19 Pandemic broke out, we have often been hearing news of a number of people we know, being affected by the Virus. This virus has been affecting people irrespective of their social status, age, colour, race or creed! Many top political leaders, including politicians and actors including Oscar award winners and leading sportspersons have been affected by the Corona Virus and each time we come across this news, it sends a shiver down our spine! Tamil Nadu is placed second on the list of Indian states most affected by the Corona Virus and today marked the highest ever numbers for a single day with 6988 new people being infected in the last 24 hours!

All this one side, there were a number of reports coming out, about actor Vishal and his father also being affected by the Corona Virus. Reports stated that first Vishal's father GK Reddy tested positive for COVID, about 20 days back and Vishal had been taking care of him, before he too got infected and tested positive. However, the reports also state that the both of them have recovered completely from the Virus, after being treated for the same, with Ayurvedhic medicines! This information is spreading rapidly on social media and news websites and now Vishal himself has confirmed that he and his father were indeed affected by Corona, as was his manager also! However, Vishal has confirmed that thankfully, all of them are fine now! Vishal's tweet states that they took Ayurvedhic medicines and were out of danger within a week and are perfectly "Hale & Healthy", now!

On the work front, Vishal will next be seen in Chakra. This movie's trailer was released recently and generated quite a good buzz! There are some speculations that Chakra's makers might look at a direct OTT release as theatres are not expected to open anytime soon! We also hear that the Chakra team is in talks with major players in the OTT field to finalise a deal. Before the lockdown started, Vishal was also working on Thupparivalan 2, which was originally directed by Mysskin. However, after a fallout between Vishal and Mysskin, the actor himself took over the reins and will be making his directorial debut with this project! Stay tuned for updates...
