It is time to get to know the official number of #COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus cases in Tamil Nadu, for today (April 26th). Today, again turned out to be a tough day with the new number of positive cases being high! We have today's numbers for you, here! Tamil Nadu has had 64 new cases of COVID positive being reported in the state. Of this, 28 new cases have been identified in Chennai alone, taking the district's total over 500, to 523. There have been 15 new cases in Madurai, 7 in Virudhunagar, 4 each in Namakkal and Villupuram, 2 in Tiruppur and 1 each in Ramnad, Salem, Kallakurichi and Thiruvallur!

Just like yesterday, there has been 1 new Corona Virus related death in the state, taking the overall death toll to 24. On the positive front, we have had 60 new recoveries today, with the total number of recovered people going up to 1020, which is higher that the number of active cases in Tamil Nadu, which is at 838. A total of 7,495 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of tests, up to 87,605! It would be good to see the numbers coming down over the coming days, before the curve flattens altogether. Flattening the Curve is important and it can only be achieved if we stay home and stay safe!
