Actor Riyaz Khan is known for his roles and performances in films like Badhri, Ghajini, Winner, Aadhavan, Masss, etc. He is currently a part of Mani Ratnam’s historical epic - Ponniyin Selvan that stars Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha in the lead roles. Riyaz Khan is quite active on Instagram and he often shares updates on the said platform. Recently, he shared a newspaper article that mentioned Riyaz Khan had been attacked by a stranger while trying to explain the importance of social distancing, during this current situation.

According to reports, Riyaz spotted people together in groups, during his morning walk near his house in Panaiyur. After seeing them not maintaining social distancing, Riyaz is said to have advised them not to gather in groups, for their own good, which unfortunately led to an argument, resulting in Riyaz getting attacked by one of the persons in the group.

An injured Riyaz Khan has apparently given a Police complaint regarding this and the case is under investigation. Riyaz’s followers on Instagram have requested him to take care and stay safe during this testing time. Well, to make this virus eradicate from the country, we need to strictly follow the rules and guidelines, given by our Government.
