Ram Charan rejoins Twitter - announces donation of 70 lakhs to fight Corona
Telugu superstar Ram Charan quit Twitter in 2017 for reasons unknown and his fans were quite disappointed with it. After a gapo of three years, the sensational star has now rejoined Twitter, this time with a new account - @AlwaysRamCharan. This has come as a pleasant surprise to everyone and his fans are delighted about this. His first tweet was for a noble cause and it has earned him huge respect among the people. Earlier this morning, Power Star Pawan Kalyan announced a donation of Rs 50 lakhs to the Governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and a donation of 1 crore to the Central Government.
Following his footsteps, Ram Charan has now donated Rs 70 lakhs to the state (AP & Telangana) and Central Government during this crisis situation. Ram also requested the people to be in isolation and stay indoors to prevent the spread of the virus. Interestingly, Ram Charan’s revisit to Twitter, comes a day after his father, Chiranjeevi’s entry into the micro-blogging platform.
On the work front, Ram Charan is right now busy with Rajamouli’s mega biggie - RRR (Roudram Ranam Rudhiram), for which the motion poster was released yesterday (March 25) amidst huge expectations. The motion poster was indeed spectacular and it created a huge buzz on social media. Check out Ram Charan’s first tweet below:
Hope this tweet finds you in good health. At this hour of crisis, inspired by @PawanKalyan garu, I want to do my bit by contributing to aid the laudable efforts of our governments...
