Rakul Preet Singh angry with this latest rumour about Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan!
Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan is a film that has excited the fans and ardent movie buffs ever since its announcement. The film has been in production for quite some time due to the complications in the production department. However, the issues were sorted out and the makers resumed shooting for the remaining portions in the beginning of this year. The shoot is currently stalled due to the pandemic situation and one is not sure when the situation will get back to normalcy. Earlier this morning (June 26), a section of Bollywood media reported that the team of Ayalaan are looking forward to resuming shooting with a limited cast and crew as soon as the relaxations are made.
It was also reported that the film’s leading lady, Rakul Preet Singh refused to come to the shoot, citing the panic situation as the reason. However, Rakul Preet Singh slammed these reports and called it to be fake. She also added that she is eagerly waiting to start shooting as it has been quite sometime since the shootings stopped. Supporting her, Ayalaan director Ravikumar said that Rakul Preet Singh is one of the most professional artists he has worked with and was all praise for her dedication. He also added that he is waiting to finish the film's shooting as soon as normalcy returns.
This timely important clarification from Rakul Preet Singh has put a full stop to all the baseless rumours and speculations that were going around. Rakul's last Tamil film was the Selvaraghavan-directed NGK, starring Suriya and Sai Pallavi as the other leads. Up next, apart from Ayalaan, Rakul will be seen playing a prominent role in Shankar's magnum opus, Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal.
Coming back to Ayalaan, this film is directed by R Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame and produced by R.D.Raja’s 24 AM Studios, in association with KJR Studios. Ayalaan will have music scored by A.R.Rahman and this film marks Sivakarthikeyan’s first collaboration with the musical legend. This science fiction thriller will deal with the premise of alien invasion, a theme that isn’t explored much in Tamil cinema. Ayalaan has cinematography by Nirav Shah, editing by Ruben, art direction by Muthuraj, stunt choreography by Anbariv. Popular VFX company, Phantom FX, who have worked on films like Baahubali 2, 2.0, will take care of the graphics and animation works in this film.
Apart from the original Tamil version, Ayalaan will have a dubbed release in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The first look poster, which released earlier this year for Sivakarthikeyan’s birthday, received a very positive response among the fans and the light-hearted feel of the poster created positive vibes for the film. @Rakulpreet is one of the most professional artists I have worked with. It's extremely unfortunate that the media falls prey for rumors and being an accomplice.

We as a team are in full spirit and can't wait to resume work with her and finish our shoot after normalcy returns. https://t.co/BZVxuVSEF2
