Director S.S.Rajamouli’s next mega biggie - Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) is getting ready as one of India’s biggest films and the fans are eager to catch the epic saga on the big screen. The film features Jr NTR (Tarak) and Ram Charan as the male leads and Alia Bhatt as the female lead. The star cast also includes Ajay Devgn (extended cameo), Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Rahul Ramakrishna, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris and others. This period epic is said to be a fictional take on the lives of the freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR).

The film's leading lady, Alia Bhatt, will play the character of Sita in the film and director Rajamouli has now officially revealed the reason behind choosing the young talent to play Sita. He said, "For the role of Sita, I needed an actress who could stand her ground between Tarak and Charan, two very talented actors. It's not a triangular love story though! Sita can be innocent, vulnerable, yet extremely resilient. That is the reason I went for Alia Bhatt".

With high expectations in the trade and among the fans, RRR is scheduled to hit the screens on January 8, 2021, for the festive occasion of Sankranti.
