Taxi driver alleges actress Mumaith Khan of refusing payment for travel
Actress Mumaith Khan is a highly popular name among South Indian cinema fans as she has made appearances in a number of celebrated films over the years by featuring in numerous hit songs. She had also appeared on notable TV shows such as in the sixth season of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, while also participating in the first season of the smash hit reality TV show, Bigg Boss' Telugu version in 2017, where she ended up in the eighth place.
Having said that, a Hyderabad-based taxi driver named Raghava Raju has made a shocking allegation against Mumaith Khan stating that she had cheated him of Rs 15,000, while adding that he is disclosing the incident to the media in order to prevent other cab drivers from facing similar tribulations. In his statement, Raghava Raju has claimed that Mumaith Khan had hired him to drive her from Hyderabad to Goa for a three-day trip, which then got extended to eight days. Upon their return, Raju had assumed the actress would make the payment of the pending amount of rupees fifteen thousand, which she refused to. The taxi driver has since been sharing proof of the hire and trip details and documents, including the bills at the toll gates, while also showing selfies he had taken with her during the trip. As of now, no statement has been made by Mumaith Khan regarding the allegations against her.
