It was just yesterday (March 25th) that Megastar Chiranjeevi joined the world of Twitter, on the occasion of Ugadi. He had posted a series of tweets regarding the ongoing Corona Virus Pandemic and had also lauded the efforts of the RRR team after the launch of their Motion Poster! Now, many top stars from the Telugu Film Industry (TFI) have been contributing to the Chief Ministers Funds of AP & Telangana for the Corona Virus relief efforts and Megastar Chiranjeevi has also come forward to do his part!

Taking to his Twitter handle, Chiru has revealed that considering the ongoing Corona Virus lockdown and how it is very important, he also understands the financial impact it has on the livelihoods of the daily wage workers & the lower income groups. To combat this, he has donated Rs. 1 Crore for the relief of the TFI film workers! This is indeed a noble gesture and would go a long way in alleviating the loss of livelihood of the film industry workers who would not be able to make any income during the lockdown period, owing to the ban on shooting across the country!
