Street Dancer 3D, the Hindi language dance drama film starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, and Prabhu Deva was also dubbed in Tamil under the same title. Street Dancer 3D had a big release in Tamil as well but the movie failed to make an impact. Street Dancer 3D directed by Remo D'Souza is bankrolled jointly by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D'Souza under the production banners T-Series and Remo D'Souza Entertainment banners.

The latest news about the movie is the video song of the track Illegal Weapon featuring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor and the song is a dance-off between the two stars and their respective teams.
