COVID Origin Story? Leaked from a Wuhan Lab employee to boyfriend to the Chinese Wet Markets?
There are many conspiracy theories doing the rounds as to how the COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic happened and where it originated. Though it is widely believed that the Corona Outbreak began from the Wet-Markets of China, this report is now being challenged by a new report from an investigation conducted by an American media house. The Media report states that the Virus outbreak started when a lab employee from the Wuhan Institute of Virology was unknowingly infected and hence passed it on to her boyfriend, eventually leaking the Virus to the Wuhan Wet Market, which is located close to the lab. The new report further adds that the Laboratory in question was studying viruses carried by bats and one of the employees got unwittingly affected.
This new media report states that the Novel Corona Virus is a naturally occurring strain in bats and not a bio-weapon and also adds that the Wuhan wet markets never sold bats and that the Chinese government blamed them, to deflect the blame! This report adds that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was studying various viruses on the direction of the Chinese Communist Party to demonstrate the country's capabilities of identifying and combating viruses to be greater than USA's. Another report from a different international news agency states that over 2 years ago, US Embassy Officials in China had raised concerns over the insufficient biosafety and lack of appropriately trained technicians at the lab. This lab is reportedly China's first Biosafety Level IV lab and is a high-containment facility. However, it remains to be seen what China's response to this report is going to be. Stay tuned...
