The district of Krishnagiri was considered to be the only place which the deadly COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus had not touched in Tamil Nadu, till now! However, now the entire district has been locked down. This has come into effect after it came to light that a COVID-19 positive doctor was found to be staying here. 11 people have now been tested for the Corona Virus in the Krishnagiri district and the entire town has been quarantined. This is a huge setback to the fight against Corona Virus in the state. 

Krishnagiri locked down due to COVID threat

Earlier, Erode, which had one of the highest cases of COVID-19 positive places in Tamil Nadu, became the first infected district to turn COVID free. Strict measures have been issued from the office of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy to control the spread of the Virus.
