First up, Thalapathy 62, which began production last week under director A. R. Murugadoss produced by Sun Pictures with music by A. R. Rahman has Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles and is slated for a Diwali release.
Meanwhile, it has just been announced that acclaimed Tamil writer Jeyamohan has been roped in to pen the dialogues for Thalapathy 62 after being approached for it almost a year back.
Next, one of the biggest announcements of last year was in the form of Kamal Haasan and director Shankar joining hands once again after 22 years for Indian 2, the sequel of their 1996 blockbuster, Indian.
Although no major additions have been made so far apart from reputed concept artist Vishwanath Sundaram coming on board, not much has been known about the film up until now. As per latest reports, Jeyamohan is also part of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 and this will be the second time after the upcoming 2.0 that he will be collaborating for a Shankar film.
Looks like Jeyamohan is now the go-to man for the dialogue-writing duties.
