The hype is definitely real for Vijay’s Thalapathy 62.
Tentatively being called Thalapathy 62/Vijay 62, the film is currently being shot in Kolkata for a Diwali release later this year under the Sun Pictures banner with music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman.
As known already, actor Keerthy Suresh was announced to be playing the female lead making it the second time she is working with Vijay after their Bairavaa last year.
Having said that, reports have now surfaced stating the makers of Thalapathy 62 have roped in actor Sayyeshaa of Vanamagan fame for a vital role.
She also has to her credit Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming neo-noir gangster comedy Junga announced for a release this summer.
It must be noted Sayyeshaa received a positive response for her performance in Vanamagan especially in the dance sequences. If she indeed is cast in Vijay 62, it would no doubt be a massive treat for fans to witness her in action with 'Thalapathy' Vijay on the dance floor.
Let us now meanwhile wait for an official statement.
