With the release date of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated sci-fi action thriller 2.0 looking farther away owing to extensive CG and VFX works, there are multiple reports stating the makers of his other film, Kaala, could be planning to bring it out earlier than expected.
The strongest hint for this happens to be composer Santhosh Narayanan beginning work on the background score of Kaala few days back after the dubbing sessions were completed. It is believed the total BGM output on the film will be delivered to director Pa. Ranjith by the end of this month.
Although reports are stating Kaala could arrive in theatres before 2.0, an official statement from the makers is meanwhile awaited.
Kaala being produced under Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films banner has Bollywood actor Nana Patekar playing the antagonist with Huma Qureshi as the female lead alongside Samuthirakani, Easwari Rao, Shayaji Shinde, Anjali Patil, Sampath, Aravind Akash among others in vital supporting roles.
