Yogi Babu just had a release last week in the form of Dharma Prabhu in which he has featured as the protagonist for the first time. This Muthukumaran directorial has got a decent reception from the mainstream audience. The comedy sensation is now all set for the release of his next film, Gurkha. Yogi Babu plays the titular character and he is the protagonist of the film along with a labrador dog. Popular Canadian model, Elyssa Erhardt, Raj Bharath, Livingston, and Anand Raj form the film's supporting cast.

Directed by Sam Anton of Darling and 100 fame, this film is scheduled to hit the screens on July 12, alongside Vikranth's Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2, Sundeep Kishan's Kannaadi. The teaser of the film which released a month back received a positive response from the audience.

The teaser suggested that the film will be a complete comedy entertainer and we had seen some interesting spoofs of films like Mersal. The makers have now released the theatrical trailer. This video was released by music director Anirudh Ravichander through his social media space.
