'Rocking Star' Yash became a nationwide phenomenon after the staggering success of his K.G.F films in which he played the swag and uber cool 'Rocky Bhai'. With a lot of debate on social media surrounding his next project, the Kannada superstar opened up on his plans regarding his upcoming film during an interaction with the media. Yash was asked about the speculations that he will be portraying Raavan in the big-screen adaptation of the ancient Indian Sanskrit epic Ramayana being made by filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, who is best known for Dangal (2016) and Chhichhore (2019).
Addressing the press during his visit to the Nanjundeshwara Temple in his hometown Mysore along with his wife Radhika Pandit and kids, Yash said, "People pay their hard-earned money to have a good time in the cinemas. I understand the value of that money. As of now, we are working with sincerity and dedication as the whole country, in fact, the entire world is watching." He added, "I understand that responsibility. We have been hard at work for a long time and are sure what we are putting together will leave everyone ecstatic. It will happen soon. As I mentioned earlier, it is my responsibility to make them happy and I will try fulfilling it. I have made every second count and have not let any day go to waste. That is how much we all are invested in right now in the work and it will come very soon." Upon being queried about turning down the role of Raavan in director NiteshTiwari's adaptation of Ramayan starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Yash responded by saying, "I have not gone anywhere… my work has made everyone come to me."
He is not even wasting single minute 🫡🫡
